The Comfort Zone Is A Dead Zone

It's called the comfort zone for a reason...

It's warm, fuzzy, safe, and doesn't change much.

However, that "comfort zone" is a DEAD ZONE. If you are looking for growth physically and mentally you need to get the hell out of there.

I'm not saying it's easy... It's definitely not. But it's whats needed for you to become your strongest version.

All of the most successful people in a wide variety of fields, didn't get to where they are today by staying in the comfort bubble. They had to bridge out, make change in their life. Go the road less traveled.

You can't do the same thing everyday looking for different results. I invite you to switch up the mainframe a bit! Shake things up baby!

Instead of taking the buss, ride your bike...

Talk to a stranger... (not a creep lol)

Instead of always doing cardio throw in some strength work...

instead of staying in on Friday nights go out and be social and see what happens...

Our training at The Den is to always be switching up the program and keep you constantly out of your comfort zone. That is why this program is so successful at changing lives and giving you results.

We stay in these comfort zones because it's easy. But without change, there is no growth.

I invite you... YES YOU! To try one thing this week totally outside of your comfort zone.

One recent thing I did outside of my comfort zone was start running 3x a week longer distances (4ish miles)

May seem easy to some of you, and god bless you. I HATE RUNNING. Thank god I had an awesome partner to run with who made it more enjoyable... but for the first couple weeks running head first into traffic seemed more appealing than finishing the run!

I even did it without any music, which was totally crazy to me. I had to listen to myself gasp for air eww.

Anyways, needles to say the first couple weeks sucked... then it got a little better... and a little better... and a little better...

Now I hate running less =] and I'm more confident in my longer runs whenever they come up in training sessions.

It took time, but I got better. If I can do it, you can too!

I'm excited for you guys, go out there and pop that comfort zone and kick some ass! Feel free to message me or e-mail me and tell me what you did.
